2014 is a year of wandering and soul searching for me. I was able to visit different towns, cities and provinces in the Philippines, not only for leisure but greatly for voluntourism activities. In some of my trips, I was also able to bring my It's More Fun in the Philippines Towel a.k.a Traveling Fun Towel! One of my advocacy is to promote domestic tourism and as a Fun Ambassador, it was easier for me to share why it's more fun in the Philippines with this towel. For now, let the photos below show you where my traveling fun towel had been this 2014. Traveling Fun Towel hugs a Pine tree in Sagada! Foodies will definitely love the homemade yoghurt of Sagada. Spelunking at Sumaguing! From the deepest cave in the country to the highest point in the Philippine Highway my Traveling Fun Towel surely enjoyed the view! Even foreigners visiting Banaue Rice Terraces loved it too! In pursuit of "kambal na strawberry", Traveling Fun Towel also made it to the Strawberry Farms in La Trinidad and went as far as Ocampo, Camarines Sur where I met Sir Leo of Libreja Agriventures, a proud Bicolano agriculturist, who came up with the lowland variety of strawberry.
CYC Island in Coron, Palawan is perfect for sunbathing and swimming!
Couples from Sweden enjoying their winter break in Palawan With fellow Dream Culion voluntourists Raffy from DepEd and Glen from DBM at Kayangan Lake, Coron island, also recognized and awarded as the cleanest lake in the Philippines. My Traveling Fun Towel also made special appearances in my speaking engagements. Whenever I can, I encourage the youth to be an active Fun Ambassador. Praying to Mama Mary of Lindogon is more fun
