This summer, try out something new: ride a horse-drawn carriage along the shore, with the waves & sea breeze on one side, the expanse of sand on the other...while watching surfers get stoked, to boot!
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm guessing that this is the first and only calesa ride on the beachin the Philippines! You can find this in Bagasbas, a surfing mecca in Daet, Camarines Norte.
I love Bagasbas for surfing but this "Carjuahe Ride" took my heart away. And you can see my happiness in this short video originally posted on Facebook Page (Please forget to LIKE Sole Searching Soul in FB) <3
I can imagine myself going back there just to chill and well, maybe tag along a date, too. Hahaha.
Now, is it expensive? NO.
Romantic? Oh yeah. DEFINITELY.
Pay only Php 100 for a 30-minute ride as you enjoy the unique experience with your (special) friend or family.
Sunset will be sweeter, and for a hopeless romantic like me, this is perfect for a cheesy overload date. Needless to say, this really made my weekend. I hope you can try this Kalesa ride by the beach when you visit Bagasbas Beach in Daet, Camarines Norte.
