My travel and adventures thought me a lot of things about fear and falling. Most of the times you just have to close your eyes, take a deep breath, listen to your heartbeat as you feel the momentum... wait for it and then let go! Scream and just go for it! Yup, that's me jumping off the cliff and enjoying the Malabsay Falls in Mt.Isarog, Naga City Sometimes, #Fear is more dangerous than the act itself. Fear hinders you to do things that you want and/or prolongs your agony. Fear stops you even before you start. This kind of feeling makes you question your capabilities and if you do not overcome it, it can eat all your confidence and leave you nothing but self doubt. So what can be the cure for Fear? Feel it. Savor it. Master how to express it. And then try to release it. Learn how to let go of your deepest fears as you wander. With my experience, I can say that fear can be overcome with practice and by taking that quantum leap of #Faith... Faith in yourself and Faith to our God. I'll let go of my fears and welcome all the risks... It feels good to be young & carefree!!! Hmmm... I wrote note above sometime in 2013 when I was having my 25on25 journey. At this moment, I don't think this statement is still 100% solid because now that I'm 26, I don't really feel so young and carefree anymore. I guess I've matured since the time I wrote it. The only certain right now is that I'm continuously learning how to let go of my hidden fears and acknowledge the things that I can and can't do. Looking at my jumping photo above, sudden rush of excitement fills my heart. And this excitement rejuvenates me! How travelling helped you face your fears? SHARE YOUR STORY in the comment section.
