Did you know that Heart
is one of the strongest muscles
in our body?
According to an article found on the website of The Library of Congress, the ♥ Heart ♥ is the hardest working muscle. "It pumps out 2 ounces (71 grams) of blood at every heartbeat. Daily the heart pumps at least 2,500 gallons (9,450 liters) of blood. The heart has the ability to beat over 3 billion times in a person’s life."
Isn't it amazing?! How a small part of our body can be that strong and vital in our life. Our heart definitely deserves a salute!
That's why in one of my #SoleSearchingSoul trips in the Philippines I was inspired to practice yoga and thought about how powerful and strong our heart can be. After some time meditating and enjoying the serenity of the seaside, I somehow managed to be creative and came up with a very personal pose... a pose that is dedicated to the heart.
Try doing it too! Here's a simple guide on how you can practice my modified version of #Heart #Salute. You don't need a yoga mat for this and you don't even have to be a yoga expert to do this... Give it a try, okay?
Find a suitable and comfortable place for you to perform the exercise. Go to your own space.
I recommend you do the exercise early morning after you wake up or before you sleep at night.
GIVE YOURSELF A SPACE. Physical, mental and #Emotional #SPACE are all equally important in making a decision that could profoundly alter your life for the better. Beware for the inner characters or even real people who can invade this space and who are sometimes called "dream stealers." Cultivate a #Thinking environment --- one where you are doing the thinking. Create an energizing special space where you plan your future. Find the space to discover what matters. - #LIFECOACH by Pam Richardson #25on25 #solesearchingsoul
1. Stand on your both feet. Bring your hand together at your heart.
Salute your Heart. It is small yet very strong.
Try to do the Heart Salute and tell me how you feel after.
Who knows, you might also come up with your own personal yoga pose.
Let me know and share it with us too!
