How many of you have weight issues? Well, I've been obese since my childhood days and it was only mid last year when I started to face this issue seriously. I remember that in the past, I also attempted to lose weight but just for the sake of losing. I guess that's one of the reason why it never worked out for me... because I was just "trying" to lose weight just for the sake of it and not for total wellness. Out of frustrations, I even auditioned for the first edition of Biggest Loser Asia but the producer told me after the VTR that I'm not that "big". I clearly remember his line "Don't you realize that you're not one of the biggest here?!" to which I replied, "yeah, actually this is the only time I felt so slim and sexy in my entire life." I ended up putting a lot more pounds year after year and didn't realize that I'm already harming myself. This exercise routine was inspired by one of the videos I saw featuring Biggest Loser fitness coach Jim Sarte. ![]() I was comfortable with who I am and what I am. I was confident even with my plus size body but then I came to a point in my life when I became tired of being fat. My "weight" kept me from trying new adventures and doing things that I love so I decided to finally face the challenge of losing weight and give my self the Gift of Wellness. This time, I incorporated exercise in all my adventures instead of indulging into food. I remember my first ever Soul Searching Soul journey even included yoga by the beach and biking around Bantayan Island in Cebu. It was totally fun! Because of my passion for travel and adventure, I was able to motivate myself to lose weight. Now, I'm really serious about it, not just about losing weight but being healthy in general. I realized that one of the greatest gifts that I can give myself is the Gift of Wellness. Now I can say that little by little I am becoming more healthy. Is it easy? No, it's honestly not that easy but I constantly remind myself why I am doing this. For now, I just love the feeling of winning while losing some excesses in my life. As of today, I already lose around close to 20 pounds and it's just liberating!!! How about you, when did you feel that Losing is also about Winning? Share your story and let's motivate each other. You're right when you said it's not about losing the weight its becoming healthy. So much feels on this post. Right now I'm taking on the century tuna challenge www.centurytuna.ph/superbodschallenge/ :)) because if JLC can do it so can I. Goodluck to us!

becoming healthy is a gift for yourself. It's true that losing weight is really difficult, you should have a goal for yourself and be inspired in order to continue losing weight.. Discipline is the key
