Growing up, I don't really remember being in my ideal weight. I have been battling with my obesity since high school but that didn't stop me from finding ways on how to me more confident and comfortable with my body. One of my coping mechanisms includes facing the mirror and talking to myself, acknowledging my imperfections and highlighting my best features which then led me to my best angle.
I used to avoid joining group pictures and even our family photo because I feel so awkward with my chubby face. I feel ugly whenever I see the prints and I cannot photoshop every photo just for me to look good. I have to be honest that out of feeling down, I even considered liposuction and other treatments. It came to a point that I was secretly wishing for Dra.Vicky Belo to become my fairygod mother!
