I was moved by my #Blogapalooza2014 experience to pursue what I have written in my ideapad, start turning those concepts to reality and pay it forward by doing something for my fellow "promdi" bloggers especially those in Bicol. I also realized that I miss doing special events.
Aside from the goodies and stuff, here are some of my prized takeaway from attending Blogapalooza 2014:
From a digital marketer's perspective, I am happy to witness how brands and companies adapt and utilize technology in their business process, promotion and service. I hope more local brands & businesses will realize the power of digital media and use it for everyone's benefit.
As a special event organizer, I learned that activation nowadays means being creative in mixing traditional and digital media. Seamless connection is a must! Right now. Right here. Aside from the freebies, what other benefits can you offer? How you will make your booth and brand standout, offline and online?! Think about after the event, not just onsite. How can you keep the interaction and engagement high?
As a blogger, I must admit that I am overwhelmed by the flow of goods and freebies! Since #Blogapalooza is an event for bloggers, brands pampered us in the best way they can. I looked around, played some games, tasted different food and collected freebies as well as tons of paper if you know what I mean. Now, as a blogger, I realized that it's not just about collecting stuff but it is actually about getting to know more about the brands. It is now my responsibility to know them better so that I can share their message to you the way I experienced it. I know I still have backlogs but I am determined to start working on these branded posts and publish it on my blog. (Looking back, when I was wearing my marketing hat, it always make my day when I see a blog post or status about my event or brand so now that I'm also wearing the blogger's hat, I might as well make someone's day with a post. )
As an advocate, I want my fellow bloggers in the province and rural areas to experience what I had experienced. I hope my #blogapalooza immersion can help me in pursuing this advocacy. Let us be on #TAAP of the game even when we choose to be PROMDI AND PROUD! Please join me in this #solesearchingsoul journey!
