"Is that a dating site?"
That’s the usual reaction I get from people when I tell them about my Sole Searching Soul blog. Many people confuse it with a dating site because of the blog name and the use of words usually associated with looking for life partner, for Mr.Right and our quest for that one great love.
That’s the usual reaction I get from people when I tell them about my Sole Searching Soul blog. Many people confuse it with a dating site because of the blog name and the use of words usually associated with looking for life partner, for Mr.Right and our quest for that one great love.
Sole Searching Soul is NOT a dating site! Don't worry, I don't get offended when people say it is. I just laugh about it and joke them about signing-up for membership. ROFL!
So if this is not a dating site, what is it?! Well, Sole Searching Soul is actually about my journey as a twenty something lady who is in constant search for purpose and meaning of life as well as my wanderlust. The concept was from my LikeWaW which I started sometime in 2012 when I was somehow lost and confused but I just formally activated this blog last year when I finally recognized that I'm going through that phase called "quarter life crisis".
Feeling lost and confused, I started to write about my passion for travel and tourism, my love for adventure and personal growth. Right now, this is my main blog where I share what’s happening in my life, my community and the various things that I pursue while I am still in the crossroad. Soon, I will be activating my other niche blogs so that this one will mainly focus on what it is originally for... a Sole searching for its Soul.
Looking deeper into it, Sole Searching Soul is actually about my love for personal reflection and growth which is fuelled every time I travel. Maybe these photos from my files will be the best way to share what this blog is all about.

You will notice that in most of my travel photos, I am doing the HEART SALUTE. If I remember it correctly, I first did that in 2013, in one of my trips in Cebu after a 3 day Silent Retreat. It became my signature pose since then.
