Now, making that dream come true didn't happen overnight. It wasn't that easy. There were several challenges but I managed to overcome it. Looking back, I realized that somehow, dreaming is not enough. Daydreaming is good but one must take actions to make these dreams come alive.
Here's one great lesson I got from Dr.Phil's Rules for Winning in the Real World.
"If you don't have a plan for getting from where you are to where you want to go, then you don't have a timeline," he said. "And if you don't have a timeline, you have a dream. Dreams are just that – they don't happen, you just dream about them. You've got to have a plan."
How you will make your dream come true?
Follow these 5 simple and practical steps that can you help you fulfill your dreams.
1. You must always remember and think about your dream. Imagine yourself actually living in that dream, as if it's already happening; what it feels like or how it looks like. Most of the time, your mind attracts the power of the universe and help you realize what you have envisioned. Set your mind to achieve what you aspire or desire for and never lose sight of it. It's the number one secret and the next thing you know is that law of attraction is working for your benefit. Cheesy but it's true!

3. Come up with your Plan and Timeline. They say that the difference between a dream and a goal is a plan and a timeline. In order to make your dream come true, you must create a plan on how you will achieve it. Turn your dream into a goal.Make it a goal with a set of timeline. For example, if you dream of going on a vacation, put a timeline when will you have that vacation. Get a calendar and mark the day that you will go on an adventure. From that set date, work backwards and mark key dates when you have to buy the ticket, plan how much you need to save, indicate things that you still need to do and look at smaller details that can contribute to your efforts in making your dream vacation come true.
4. Stop Procrastinating! We often find ourselves saying we want things to happen but set our actions for later. I am also guilty of procrastinating for hundreds of times since I started my #25on25 journey, I learned that even small actions matter. When I feel too lazy and uninspired, I just always go back to Step 1 and 2... I remind myself about my dreams, why I want it, visualize it and then start to do something about it. In fulfilling your dreams, you don't have to take a leap. Sometimes all you just have to do is kickstart it by taking smaller steps most especially when you are tempted to postponed things. Do not wait for tomorrow. Do something today. Do not delay. To make your dreams come true, you have to act now...as in now!!! (Good that you read this blog post, it means you are starting to make actions for you to realize your dream.)
5. Don't stop dreaming! Okay, let's be honest. There will many many times that you will feel discourage especially when after several failed attempts in chasing after your dream. Should you just quit? No, you shouldn't stop there!!! Remember to always get up and work harder to achieve your goal. Maybe Plan A doesn't give you a good output but remember that you can always adjust your plans and tweak it to make it work. Disadvantages should give you means to improve your craft and actions. If Plan A doesn't work, proceed to Plan B, C, D and the list goes on. Who says there is only one route to achieve your dream? Be creative. Dream. Believe. It is not yet too late. Don't lose hope. Adjust your plans. Fill your heart with courage. Just keep going!!!
