"Yellow decided to risk for a butterfly. For courage she hung right beside the other cocoon and began to spin her own. 'Imagine, I didn't even know I could do this. That's some encouragement that I'm on the right track. If I have the stuff inside me to make cocoons—maybe the stuff of butterflies is there too."
Looking back at my decisions and choices, I realized it always boil down to the key lessons I embraced from #HopeForTheFlowers, a book I first read when when I was a freshman which became one of my favorite since then. It has also a big influence on why I chose not to "climb the corporate ladder".
"To get to the “top” he must fly, not climb." - Stripes
"It takes lot of butterflies to make a world full of flowers." How does one become a butterfly? You have to want to learn to fly so much that you are willing to give up being a caterpillar.
I'm turning 27 next month and everything I've learned this 2015 will be incorporated as I set new goals for my 30s. I hope you continue to join me in my #TAAP journey!
