When I started my backpacking adventures, most of the people I know asked me if I don't feel lonely and sad when I travel alone. I said No, I don't really feel alone. My answer always leave them with a puzzled look. Well, how can I be sad when along the way I meet good people and backpackers too who are up for clean fun and adventure.
One of the things I love about travelling is that it let you trust the innate goodness of humanity. I mean, how many of you find it easy to trust strangers when you travel? In my case, it was a lot easier especially after having conversation with fellow backpackers and travelers about places, people and more.

As I write this post, I can't help but smile every time I remember the food challenges, amazing race adventures and unlimited LOL moments from Singapore to Philippines. Well, those will be posted in a series after almost 4 years! The memories are so vivid. I can't stop laughing. hahaha.

Traveling alone? No worries. Instead of staying in hotels, why not try alternative accommodations from time to time.
Be adventurous and stay in a hostel with cozy interactive common area where you'll surely meet strangers who will be your travel buddies for a day or maybe even friends for life.

Pus and Dennis playing the Wii in the common area which was also the entertainment area of the Beary Nice Hostel. Pus who was our hostel receptionist then was very accommodating & helpful. We became friends too.
NOTE: I'm trying to recover all my travel files so expect more videos and photos which I hope will inspire you to travel even when you are alone. They say the world is dangerous but when you start to go places, you'll realize that goodness is actually overflowing.
