This morning, when I went for a walk with our pet dog, Mama followed me. I looked back and saw her with these kids. I know that wherever I go and whatever path I choose to take, Mama will always have my back, all the time!
Lately I noticed there's a certain kind of longing which Mama might be feeling especially when it is already about kids. I'm thankful to the children in our community for keeping mama's company and for bringing her joy especially when Ebouy and I, her "grown-up" daughters, are not home. ️
Sometimes we're too busy with our career and running after our dreams that we tend to forget to cherish the moments with our parents especially after they gave almost everything for us.
We had the tendency to ignore them; days, weeks, years will pass and little did we notice that they are already old... I guess we don't have to wait for Mother's Day or Father's Day to give a little attention to our parents and to let them know how thankful we are to have them. New Year can also be a good way to say sorry for all the moments that we've been impatient and careless about them.
Don't miss this chance to cherish every moment with them. Hug them. Thank them. This 2014, be more attentive to your parents.
When was the last time you said I love you or hug them? Don't wait for another year to passby. Do it everytime you have a chance.
Express how much you love them before it's too late.
