It made me smile when friends and family members extended their congratulatory messages together with a screen shot of my appearance in TV Patrol Bicol. I wasn't able to watch it because I was on a meeting, good thing ABS-CBN uploaded their programs online so here it is... unexplained bliss! I'm very thankful to all and most especially to fellow Bicolanos who support my Sole Searching Soul journey. Don't forget to check my blog giveaway post to know how I can share this blessing to you and to all my blog readers too. You get the chance to win a FREE vacation. :-)

For God. For Bicol. For All.
I must admit that this is the first time I'm joining a writing project. This is to support fellow newbies like me to be recognized for their blogging efforts and budding presence & influence online. I'm very thankful to Ms.Janette Toral of Digital Filipino for organizing this writing project, now on its 8th year!
Well, I'm technically new to professional blogging and I'm very happy that my decision to focus on creating and publishing contents earlier this year is already producing some fruits. I didn't really expect that other bloggers will consider Sole Searching Soul as one of the Emerging Influential Blogs in 2014 but I'll be very honest in saying that I am very honored to be included in their list. I feel happy to know that somehow I am able to share a part of me and my advocacy... it also means a lot for a newbie like me.
So cheers to the crazy ones like me...
This is my list of Top 10 Emerging Influential Blogs for 2014.
1. SOLE SEARCHING SOUL - (Okay, I shamelessly nominate my blog just because I truly believe in it.) Passion + Advocacy + Making a Difference. Over the past months since I started publishing blog posts, a handful of my friends and newly found friends online shared how I influenced / inspired them to pursue their passions and dreams too. Through this blog and tourism advocacy campaigns, people started to notice the importance of digital marketing especially in regional / local level. Business heads and key LGU leaders are now more open in executing online campaigns to reach more people by supporting this blog, fellow Bicolano bloggers and like-minded friends too. Through this blog, I get to fulfill my mission in life and as a person & traveler, that is to make a difference in other's lives and in the community one trip at a time.
2. JLOFIED - Moother/Wife/Entrepreneur/Event Organizer/ Blogger/Employee. My list can go on about her different roles and you'll read many interesting posts about her personal and professional life here. As someone who used to organize events, I like reading her practical tips about special events and businesses too. Oh by the way, don't miss her blog post about Boudoir Photography. ;-)
DIM SUMMIT 2014: Don't forget to also read my blog giveaway post to know how you can get the chance to win FREE VACATION in different parts of the Philippines.
Traveling for almost 20 hours* from Naga City (Bicol) to Boracay (Aklan)
was worth it. I was able to witness this enchanting view this between 5 pm to 6pm while I was strolling along the famous white long beach of Boracay.
It was a memorable view which made my afternoon stroll even more relaxing. I must admit that despite the limited time I spent along the shore, I enjoyed it more than my previous visits. The place wasn't too crowded and most of the tourists were silent, maybe savoring the moment just like me, while watching the sunset of August 31, 2014.
I love this version of Boracay... postcard perfect and tranquil.

TAKE THE LANCASTER NEW CITY TOUR!
During my visit, I've seen a lot of couples and families visiting Lancaster. Some of them even paid their downpayment on the spot. I've asked them why and they told me they are seriously considering getting their dream house there because the location is good and it is affordable.

I must admit that there were some instances that I asked myself if I made the right decision… I wonder if it was worth it. Today, with all conviction, I can clearly say that it is worth it.
Today I realized that I must have done something right, not just for myself but for also the brand and my community to be invited by Ms.Janette Toral as one of the speakers.
